26 weeks!

First off, let me say that I cannot believe I only have one week left of my second trimester! We now have less than 100 days to go until our due date. Notice I'm not foolish enough to say "100 days until she gets here." While I feel she'll likely be early rather than late, I am well-aware her birthdate is one thing I have no control over.

Michael and I have been busy getting ready for her arrival. The nursery is 95% finished- we're just finishing up getting some things hung on her wall, and we haven't gotten her changing pad yet. We're in the process of buying her carseat and stroller.

If it's possible to begin your nesting phase at 6 1/2 months pregnant, I certainly believe I have. The house has never been cleaner. One night this week, I came home from work adament that I needed to pack our hospital bag. So, although it is early, the bag is packed and ready to go. Michael said nothing, God bless him- just shook his head and let me pack!

Our baby girl gets more active everyday- many a night this week, we have lain in bed and watched my stomach move. She's definitely a strong little kicker. If one of us puts our hands on my belly, she kicks at us. I've even been lying with my stomach pressed into Michael's back so she can kick him, too.

I'm not as big in person as I look like I am in these pictures. I've not gained 10 pounds yet!
