Our little tumblebug is a constant mover these days but I am recognizing a regular pattern with her. She is very active in the mornings- I feel her as I'm waking up, as I'm getting ready, as I'm driving to school... and then I don't feel her again until after lunch. She's active again about 4:30 or 5 as I am cooking, and for a time after I eat dinner. Then, I don't feel her until time for bed. She definitely has a strange sleep pattern!
Some of you have asked about my blood sugar. It's been fairly steady, mostly low, and rarely high. I've been careful to stick to the diabetes diet and exercise plan, but it also seems the baby uses up everything I'm taking in! The OB is carefully monitoring my sugar and caloric intake, but has determined I do not need a glucose tolerance test.
On the other hand, Michael and I have been hard at work on little one's nursery and have nearly finished it. We bought all of her wall decor but haven't hung her them yet, but we did buy and install her closet organizer and organize that closet.
Pictures, anyone?
Me, at 24 weeks. Yes, I have grown.
My daddy and Michael changed the blades on this fan to white so it would match her furniture.
On to the closet:
Her closet organizer with all her books and toys on it.
We've already started reading to her.
There are already lots of pretty things for her to wear.
Never too early to start stockin' up. :)
See her sunbonnet and little Rainbows?
That's all folks! Tune in next week.
