14 weeks

We had our 14 week check up today, in which we learned my blood pressure is great, even with all the bad things I've been eating. We also learned my weight gain is apparently appropriate for my size, and this visit  marked the first time we got to hear baby's heartbeat by dopplar. It was a quick 162 beats per minute, which my doctor seemed pleased with.

In just a short 3 weeks, we will be back at the doctor's office for our 17 week ultrasound, in which we will find out the sex of our child. It will also be my last appointment with my wonderful doctor, before I have to start the rotation. I'm not really excited about this, as I do not like seeing male doctors for female visits! Don't get me wrong, a dental or eye exam, or even an illness related visit is fine, but when it gets more personal than that, no thanks. I've been told that I will stop caring the closer I get to delivery, but I have my doubts. This girl's a prude!

Enough about that, here is a shot of my 14 week belly. No 13 week entry or picture, as we had an awfully busy week last week, and the time just got away from us.

Baby is definitely growing (as is Mama!)
